La Cala Resort Hotel
This top class 5 star hotel built in 1997 and recently refurbished has been built in traditional Andalucian style, a commanding central position in the heart of the Valley De Golf. Decorated and furnished to the highest quality and comfort, with every modernisation you could wish for at the end of a long day on the course. With 107 recently refurbished bedrooms spread across three floors, opening out on to balconies or terraces providing stunning views over the La Cala south course and the mountains beyond.
The La Cala resort now offers the new course Campo Europa, which makes the La Cala resort the first in the Costa del Sol to offer 54 holes!! The Hotel also boasts many other features including a David Leadbetter Golf Academy, a full size football pitch, and a conference centre, ideal for corporate events and a newly opened Spa centre.
When not out playing the resort is 5 minutes drive from the small but lively village of La Cala De Mijas, boasting many fine restaurants, including the Mijas Playa which is a must when visiting. There are also many bars and a few shops. Further afield is Fuengirola approx 10 minutes drive and Marbella approx 20 minutes drive.
If choosing to spend the evening at the hotel why not just sit and relax with a cool beer in one of the two bars located at the resort, watching the sunset over La Cala mountains.
