One of three courses at the Quinta do Lago Golf Resort, the Laranjal course compliments the North and South courses, with all three being among Europe’s best.
Located 2 km east of the Ludo Valley in what was originally an orange grove, the course is surrounded by pine, orange, and cork trees as well as several lakes.
This championship course is quite demanding and will require a high level of creativity and accuracy. The course comprises five par 5’s, eight par 4’s, and five par 3’s.
Opened in 2009 and designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, the Quinta do Lago Laranjal course was voted as the best golf course at the Portuguese Travel Awards in 2011. It also appeared in the #1 spot in our blog post review 8 Best Golf Courses In The Algarve Portugal.
Spanning 6,480 metres, the par 72 parkland course is very demanding and requires the utmost concentration and precision. Its unique undulating landscape has been meticulously crafted and maintained to offer a world-class golfing experience.
The clubhouse is a hub for golfers who enjoy the exceptional facilities of Quinta do Lago.
Facilities at the clubhouse include a bar, restaurant, pro-shop, and all the practice facilities you will need to get your handicap down!
The Laranjal clubhouse restaurant offers an all-day menu, where you can fill up on a hearty breakfast, enjoy a burger, baguette, or pasta dish, or keep it simple with a tasty salad or light bite.
